Trentham and District Historical Society

Trentham and District Historical Society aims to research the history of Trentham and district and to make this information public through meetings, publications and displays.  General meetings with a speaker or an event, are held at the Bowling Club at 8pm every second month, and are open to the public as well as to members.

Subscription rates are: $15 for an individual member, $7.50 for a pensioner, and $20 for two members at the same address. To join, send a cheque made payable to Trentham Historical Society. Members receive our quarterly journal, RECORDER, which contains news of the society's activities, and information about the history of the district.

We welcome enquiries about family or local history, which should be made by contacting the Research Officer. The cost of this service is either a small monetary donation, or the contribution of additional information to the society.
