President: Darryl Wynne; Meetings are held on the second Wednesday evening of every second month from February to December commencing at 8 pm at the Pig and Whistle Hotel, James Lane, East Trentham. Those wishing to have a meal beforehand should try to arrive by 6:30 pm or ring ahead ph 54241213 or fax 54241121 to ensure you have a meal waiting on your arrival. Visitors are most welcome. Trentham Sustainability Group (TSG) was formed in February 2008, following a well-attended public forum on Global Warming. TSG is auspiced by Trentham Neighbourhood Centre. Membership is open to everyone with an interest in sustainable living. Meetings and other activities are held monthly but dates vary - check the Trentham Trumpet or with contacts below - we'd love to see you.
Our projects include - Sustainable Housing; Future Food & Farming-Keeping it Local; String Bag/Plastic Bag Free; Waste Management and Local Renewable Energy. TSG hosts Community Conversations, Guest Speakers and Film Nights ... to learn from one another and be inspired.
