Community Investment Program

Community Investment Applications open now!

Do you belong to a community group or not-for-profit organisation?  Is your group/organisation planning a project that requires additional funding?  Trentham & Districts Community Bank® Branch is looking to support a number of educational, cultural, environmental, sporting or other innovative projects throughout the district.  

Applications for the current round of community investments will be accepted throughout the month of March and the next round will be September.  To be eligible to apply organisations must be an incorporated body or auspiced through an incorporated body.  All applications submitted by unincorporated groups must also be signed by its auspicing body.  Application forms are available from the Branch or an editable version is available for download at the bottom of this page.

All requests for community investment are required to allow at least 60 days notice for approval although special consideration may apply in some circumstances.

Trentham & Districts Community Bank® Branch has returned over $30,000 to community groups and not-for-profit organisations since opening in August 2011.

As we anticipated, by people staying in Trentham to do their banking and not travelling to nearby towns, other local businesses are benefiting by those people shopping locally. Whilst our directors cannot discuss details of banking business, they are happy to discuss and answer any questions you might have on the community bank model. Their contact details are available from the branch, just ask one of the staff there.
