Frogmore Nursery and Display Gardens 

A visit to Frogmore Nursery and Display Gardens (formerly Norgate's) is an ideal day trip being a short drive from both Melbourne and central Victoria. We are located on the Trentham-Greendale Road near Barry's Reef (12km south of Trentham). The farm covers an area of 22 acres in the middle of the Wombat State Forest. Ten acres is devoted to growing plants for sale, while the remaining twelve acres is being developed into gardens and woodland.

Garden of St Erth

The Garden of St Erth is famous for its spectacular displays of daffodils, lupins, rare shrubs and perennials. The Café is open Friday, Saturday & Sunday and during festivals, 10am to 5pm and Saturday nights. There is no noise, no cars, just the quiet clinking of coffee cups. Join the Diggers' Club, pick up your seeds and plants and browse inside the 1860’s miners cottage. Just 60 minutes from Melbourne along the Western Highway, you can find us at Melway ref 609 E11.

Blackwood Ridge Nursery

Previously operating as the Trentham Nursery it has moved and been reestablished as the Blackwood Ridge Nursery off the Trentham- Greendale Road,between Blackwood and Dales Creek.  With five times the space it will has an even bigger range and specialises in cool climate plants with an extensive collection of Dogwood (cornus) , Maple (acer) , Birch (betula) & Viburnum and other rare species unavailable elsewhere. They also stock a wide range of every day plants from fruit trees to roses, ground covers, climbers and shrubs, conifers, perennials, natives and more.
